Interested in the history of Charlotte Grange Hall and in historic preservation? Join us at the Grange on February 17th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm to hear about the history of this historic building.
We will have a presentation by Dan Cole, President of the Charlotte Historical Society and Aileen Williams, M.S. in Historic Preservation about current work to have the Hall listed on the National Register of Historic Places. New insights into the history of this historic building have come about because of Aileen’s year-long project to nominate the building for listing on the Register. Dan has been incredibly helpful with the project and knows the wonderful twists and turns that saw the building operate as a debating society, one-room school and Grange meeting place. We will have a chance to ask questions and refreshments will be served.
Should our parking lot fill up, please park at the Catholic Church just south of the Grange, by the fence. Follow the orange cones. Kindly stay home if you are feeling sick and mask up if you have been exposed to someone with a contagious respiratory ailment.
This is the start of an every-other-month 2026 Lecture Series at the Charlotte Grange Hall. Interested community members are invited to join Charlotte Grange Members in learning about a variety of Grange-related topics on the third Tuesday evening of February, April, June, August, and October. Lectures will be followed by an opportunity for questions and conversation. Refreshments will be served.
