Membership
The Charlotte Grange is a community-oriented membership organization. There are several different ways to be involved and connected:
Member: Pays annual dues, takes the Grange “Obligation,” is eligible to vote on Charlotte Grange matters, is eligible to hold an office in the Charlotte Grange, and is eligible to participate in and/or chair committees
Associate Member: Pays annual dues, is eligible to participate in and/or chair committees, is NOT eligible to vote or hold office
Financial Supporter: Supports the Grange and/or the Friends of the Lyceum Schoolhouse through financial contributions of any amount and is eligible to participate in committees
Volunteer: Supports Grange efforts by volunteering, powering the year-round initiatives we support in the community and is eligible to participate in committees.
With the exception of Member vs. Associate Member, these options for participation are not mutually exclusive! We expect that many members will also continue to be active volunteers, and that some financial supporters may wish to be involved as volunteers or members, as well.
For those wishing to as a Member or Associate Member, annual dues are on a sliding scale between $30-$50 per person or $60-$100 per couple depending on individual comfort. Of these, $10 per person is directed to the State Grange, and $20 per person is directed to the National Grange. Any additional funds will be retained by the Charlotte Grange in support of our operations and programming.
