Poets and poetry lovers are warmly invited to our monthly Poetry at the Grange series. On Thursday, January 8, Buffy Aakaash of East Calais will be our featured poet. Buffy is on the executive board of the Poetry Society of Vermont, and serves as editor of the Mountain Troubadour. He has written two books of poetry entitled "Untangling the Knots" and “Breaking", authors a blog full of interesting commentary about poetry, and hosts monthly on-line poetry workshops.
After Buffy presents some of his work, audience members will be invited to share their own or their favorite poems with the group.
Should our parking lot fill up, please park at the Catholic Church just south of the Grange, by the fence. Kindly stay home if you are feeling sick and mask up if you have been exposed to someone with a contagious respiratory ailment.
Poetry at the Grange is held every second Thursday at the Grange in collaboration with the Charlotte Public Library. The winter poetry program runs from 1-2:30. This is just one of many events run by the Charlotte Grange, located at 2858 Spear St. For more information about the Charlotte Grange and to view a full calendar of interesting events, we hope you will check out our website: https://www.charlottegrange.org/
Please note: this event will be held on the second floor, which is not handicap accessible.
