POETRY OPEN MIC!
Poets, poetry lovers, and everyone interested in poetry are invited to gather at the historic Charlotte Grange Hall! Bring your original poetry or a few of your favorite poems to read or recite, or just come to listen.
On December 11, YOU are the featured poets! Participants are invited to recite their own poetry (5 poems or five minutes) and then participate in a Texas Round Robin, where all take turns presenting one poem each until we are out of poems, poets, or time.
Please stay home if you are not feeling well and might be contagious, and please mask if you have been exposed to any respiratory illnesses.
Everyone is welcome! Poetry at the Grange is held in collaboration with the Charlotte Library. We gather every second Thursday from 1-2:30 pm during winter and spring months of November through April. Excess parking can be found at the Catholic Church south of the Grange, next to the back fence. For more information or to RSVP (appreciated but not necessary): abigailkilley@me.com,
Please note: this event will be held on the second floor, which is not handicap accessible.
